RESOLUTION NO. 1114
A RESOLUTION OF THE SEAL BEACH PLANNING COMMISSION APPROVING
CONDITIONAL PERMIT USE CP-19-77 FOR A LUMBER YARD/HOME
IMPROVEMENT CENTER.
WHEREAS, an application was duly filed by James R. Watson, 101
Main Street, Suite "a," Seal Beach for CP -19-77; and
WHEREAS, the property is described as the 3.5+ AC Edison triangle
site, bounded by Pacific Coast Highway, Marina Drive and
5th Street, and
WHEREAS, the proposal is for a lumber yard/Home Improvement Center;
and

WHEREAS, the Planning Commission makes the following finding regarding
the proposal:
1) The proposal is to relocate an existing facility
into a New Home Imrpovement Center
2) Most uses now conducted outside will be placed
within a building
3) The project will substantially upgrade the property
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Planning Commission does hereby
approve CP-19-77 subject to the following conditions.
a) Conditional Use Permit subject to the amendment to the
zoning ordinance becomming effective which allows lumber
yard/home improvement centers in the C-2 zone~
b) Conditional Use Permit subject to approval of the parcel
map
c) Conditional Use Permit subject to a zone change from
C-O to C-2
d) Both the main building and covered lumber storage building
be provided with an approved automatic sprinkler system
to the satisfaction of the Fire Chief.
e) Accessory building not to exceed 15' in height
