HomeMy WebLinkAboutPC Res 1123 - 1978-02-01 - . e e (~ -' ," , . , ' RESOLUTION NO. 1123 A RESOLUTION OF THE SEAL BEACH PLANNING COMMISSION APPROVING VARIANCE, V-I-78 FOR A ONE CAR TANDEM GARAGE IN THE R-l ZONE. WHEREAS, an application was duly filed by Kenneth Bartlett, 636 Bayside Drive for Variance V-I-78; and WHEREAS, the property is described as lot 255, Tract 2590 and is more commonly known as 636 Bayside Drive; and WHEREAS, the proposal is to construct a one-car tandem garage in the R-l zone; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission makes the following findings: 1. Hardship exists due to the location of the house on the lot which reduces options for the garage location. . 2. Hardship would be created by placing a garage on the rear of the lot due to the amount of the lot devoted to drive-way. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Planning Commission does hereby approve Variance, V-I-78. PASSED AND APPROVED on February 1, 1978, by the following vote: AYES: Ripperdan, Cook, Covington NOES: Lanning ABSENT: Knapp .
