RESOLUTION NO. 1143 A RESOLUTION OF THE SEAL BEACH PLANNING.COMMISSION APPROVING CP-II-78 FOR ON SALE LIQUOR IN CONJUNCTION WITH A DINNER HOUSE RESTAURANT. WHEREAS, an application was duly filed by Rum Runners, Inc. 3711 Long Beach Blvd., Long Beach for CP-II-78; and WHEREAS, the property is described as lots 27, 28, 29, 30, 31, 32, 33, 34, 35, 36 Block 216, Tract 10 and lots 30,32,34,36, Block 217, Tract 10 and is more commonly known as 1600 Pacific Coast Highway; and WHEREAS, the proposal is for on sale liquor (Cocktail Lounge) at an existing dinner house restaurant and for ballroom type dancing; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission makes the following findings regarding the application: . 1. The proposal involves no enlargement of the building. 2. The proposal involves no intensification of use or of the operation. 3. No Disco or Swing type dancing is proposed. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Planning Commission does hereby approve CP-II-78 subject to the following conditions: 1. Conditional Use Permit to be issued to Rum Runners, Inc., for a Cocktail Lounge at 1600 Pacific Coast Highway for a period of one year with provision for renewal at the end of one year. 2. No "Disco" or "Swing" tupe dancing be permitted. 3. The Planning Commission shall review the dancing in 6 months to determine its compatibility. 4. The existing dance floor size to be maintained.
