RESOLUT ION NO. 1207
A RESOLUTION OF THE SEAL BEACH PLANNING
COMMISSION APPROVING CP-7-80 FOR ON-SALE
BEER AND WINE IN CONJUNCTION WITH AN
EXISTING RESTAURANT.
WHEREAS~ an application was duly filed by James and Nao~i Giancola,
101 Main Street, Seal Beach for CP-7-80; and
WHEREAS, the property is described as portions of Lot 7, 8, 9, 10 Block
8, Bay City Tract and is more commonly known as 101 Main Street; and
WHEREAS, the proposal is for renewal of on-sale beer and wine in conjunction
with an existing restaurant (Giancola's Restaurant); and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission makes the following findings regarding
the application;
1. On-sale beer and wine in conjunction with the restaurant
has been found to be a compatible use in this location.
2. There have been no problems with the existing operation at
this site.
3. No complaints have been received regarding the restaurant
or the on-sale beer and wine.
4. No problems with the new operation are anticipated.
5. No expansion of use or intensification of use is anticipated.
6. Surrounding land uses should not be adversely affected by
the proposed use.
NOW; THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Planning Commission does hereby
approve CP-7-80 subject to the following conditions:
1. Conditional Use Permit for beer and wine only, issued to
the applicant at the subject address.
2. Conditional Use Permit to be issued for one year with
provision for renewal at the end of one year.
