RESOLUTION NO. 1253
A RESOLUTION OF THE SEAL BEACH PLANNING COMMISSION
APPROVING CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT CP-7-81 FOR ON-SALE
LIQUOR LICENSE FOR WALTIS WHARF AT 201 MAIN STREET
WHEREAS, an application was duly filed by Walt's Wharf, Inc., 201
Main Street, Seal Beach, for CP-7-81; and
WHEREAS, the property is described as Lots 1 and 3, Block 108, Bay City
Tract, and is more commonly known as 201 Main Street; and
WHEREAS, the proposal is for a Conditional Use Permit to allow an on-
sale alcohol license at the existing Walt's Wharf Restaurant;
, and

WHEREAS, the Planning Commission makes the following findings:
1) This proposal does not involve any enlargement or
expansion of use and does not involve construction.
2) This restaurant has had an on-sale beer and wine alcohol
license from 1970 to present.
3) From 1970 to present, the use has been compatible with
surrounding land uses.
4) The subject site is within 300 feet of a church and
residential property.
5) The subject site is more than 300 feet from any school.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Planning Commission does hereby
apprpve CP-7-81 subject to the following conditions:
1) CUP for on-sale liquor at 201 Main Street.
2) CUP issued to: Philip A. Lacasto, Catherine Lacasto and
Philip J. Lacasto.
3) CUP is issued for a period of one year with a provision to
renew CUP at the end of one year.
4) All possible on-site parking to be used for employee and/or
customer parking. (13 proposed)
5) Provide additional parking to meet code. (20 spaces from City.)
6) Closing hour of restaurant to be midnight.
7) Bank of America letter on parking use to remain in effect.
PASSED AND APPROVED on February 17, 1982, by the following vote:
