RESOLUTION NUMBER 1278
A RESOLUTION OF THE SEAL BEACH PLANNING COMMISSION
APPROVING CUP-2-83 FOR PORCH ADDITIONS TO A NON-
CONFORMING FOURPLEX AT 1101 SEAL WAY, SEAL BEACH
THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF SEAL BEACH HEREBY RESOLVES:
WHEREAS, an application was duly filed by Richard Buckerfield,
1107 Seal Way, or CUP-2-83; and
WHEREAS, the property is described as Lot 18, Block E, Tract 1009
and is more commonly known as 1101 Seal Way; and
WHEREAS, the proposal is to add porches on the first and second
floors of a nonconforming fourplex, in accordance with
a final plan; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission makes the following findings:
1. The building is up to code in all safety areas (elec-
trical, plumbing, heating, etc.).

2. The proposed additions will comply with all required
setbacks.
3. The proposed additions will add 7% to the building
area bringing the total area to 3,698 square feet.
4. Two porches, not enclosed, approximately 6 ft. x 27
ft. each with maximum glass area acceptable.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Planning Commission of
the City of Seal Beach does hereby approve CUP-2-83.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED by the Planning Commission of the
City of Seal Beach at a meeting thereof held on the 16th day
of February . 1983 by the following vote:
AYES: Commissioners Covington, Jessner. Smith
NOES: Commissioners None
ABSENT: Commissioners Goldenberg. Perrin
