A RESOLUTION OF THE SEAL BEACH PLANNING COMMISSION
APPROVING V-6-83 FOR CONSTRUCTION OF A SINGLE FAMILY
DWELLING WITH TANDEM PARKING AT 1618 OCEAN AVENUE
The Planning Commission of the City of Seal Beach hereby resolves:
WHEREAS, an application was duly filed by Roger Cunningham, 283 Camellia
Lane, Costa Mesa, California for V-6-83; and
WHEREAS, the property is described as Lot 17 of Tract No.1 in
Block C, Book 9 Miscellaneous Maps of Orange County and
is more commonly known as 1618 Ocean Avenue; and
WHEREAS, the proposal requested permission to construct a single
family residence with tandem parking at 1618 Ocean Avenue;
and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission made the following findings:
a) The property in question qualifies for a t~o-car garage
according to the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Seal
Beach.

b) Hardship has been demonstrated which deprives this
property of privileges enjoyed by other property in
the same vicinity and zone.
c) The granting of the variance would not constitute
a granting of a special privilege consistent with
the limitations placed upon other properties in the
same vicinity and zone.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Planning Commission does
hereby approve V-6-83 on the basis of the findings contained herein.
PASSED. APPROVED AND ADOPTED by the Planning Commission of the
City of Seal Beach at a meeting thereof held on the 21st day
of September ,1983 by the following vote:
AYES: Commissioners Murphy, Perrin, Jessner, Covington

ABSENT: Commissioners Goldenberg
