RESOLUTION NO. 26
A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF SEAL BEACH APPROVING PLAN REVIEW APPLICATION
NO. PR-4-65, A SITE PLAN FOR ADDITION TO AN EXISTING
COMMERCIAL STRUCTURE.
WHEREAS, in the matter of request for approval of a preliminary site plan for
addition to an existing commercial structure (Application No. PR-4-65) the
Planning Commission of the City of Seal Beach does report as follows:
1. Subject case was initiated by Dr. W. P. Garrison, 5639 Corso Napoli, Long
Beach, Calif.
2. Subject site plan is for Lot 35, Block 8, Bay City Tract, 135 Main St.,
Seal Beach.
3. Subject site plan is a preliminary development plan indicating proposed
size and location of addition to an existing commercial building on Main
Street and indicating the number and arrangement of parking spaces at the
rear of the building.
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission findings are as follows:
1. This is an allowable use in the C-2 Zone.
2. The total number of parking spaces shown is three (3) and the total number
required for this use is three (3). The Seal Beach Zoning Ordinance
indicates that where off street parking is provided by a public or
cooperative district facilit~ that all parking requirements for buildings
within 300 feet of any proposed use may be satisfied by said common off
street parking facility. It is hereby determined that such is the case
with the subject proposal thus the amount of parking shown is determined
as acceptable.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Planning Commission of the City of Seal
Beach does hereby approve Plan Review Application No. PR-4-65.for an addition
to an existing commercial structure located at 135 Main St., Seal Beach.
