HomeMy WebLinkAboutPC Res 58 - 1966-03-16 . . '- . e e RESOLUTION NO. 58 A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF SEAL BEACH APPROVING VARIANCE APPLICATION NO. V-2-66. WHEREAS, in the matter of variance Application No..V-2-66, the Planning Commission of the City of Seal Beach does report as follows: 1. Subject case was initiated by Jack T. Cairns, 640 Taper Drive, Seal Beach. 2. Legal description of property is Lot 64, Tract No. 2590. The street address is 640 Taper Drive, Seal Beach. 3. Subject property is located in the R-1 Zone of the Inland District (District II). 4. Subject proposal is to convert the existing garage from a side entry type to a front entry type with less than the required front yard.:setback. WHEREAS, the Planning Commission findings are as follows: 1. Other house and garage combinations in the area were originally built on the lots in a similar manner. 2. No on-street parking would be affected. 3. Conversion would provide area for patio and landscaping to enhance the general appearance of the property. 4. Street tree would be transplanted into area of present driveway by owner. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Planning Commission of the City of Seal Beach does hereby approve Variance Application No. V-2-66 as submitted.
