HomeMy WebLinkAboutPC Res 59 - 1966-04-06 . . . . . RESOLUTION NO. 59 A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF SEAL BEACH APPROVING VARIANCE APPLICATION NO. V-3-66. WHEREAS, in the matter of Variance Application No. V-3-66, the Planning Commission of the City of Seal Beach does report as follows: 1. Subject case was initiated by Ayres & Fiege, Architects, 4253 Coldwater Canyon, North Hollywood, California, as authorized agents of Roman Catholic Archbishop of Los Angeles, 340 10th St., Seal Beach (St. Anne's Parish). 2. Legal description of property is Lots 30, 32, 34, 36, 38, 40, 42, 44, 46, 48, 50, 52 and 54, Block 210, Bay View Tract. The street address is 340 10th St., Seal Beach. 3. Subject proposal is to replace an existing assembly hall with a new building with less than required rear yard setback and less than the required number of off-street parking spaces. WHEREAS, the Planning Commission findings are as follows: 1. S~Ilt;~\1~ry...~ assembly hall would not have maximum use at the same time. 2. 67 parking spaces would be furnished - a decrease of 4 from present spaces available. 3. No auto openings on rear side of building. 4. Access doors on the rear of the building open into a recessed area and not directly into the alley. .' 5. No objections written or oral were received. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Planning Commission of the City of Seal Beach does hereby approve Variance Application No. V-3-66 as submitted.
