RESOLUTION NO.
69
A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF SEAL BEACH MAKING A DETERMINATION OF THE
PROPER ZONE FOR MOTORCYCLE RENTAL AGENCY.
WHEREAS. in the matter of the proper zone for location of motorcycle rental agency.
the Planning Commission of the City of Seal Beach does report as follows:
i. The use "Motorcycle Rental Agency" is not designated specifically in the
Seal'Beach Zoning Ordinance (No. 628).
2. A request for permission to use a portion of an existing building at 101 Main
Street for such purposes has been received from Mr. Gene Morgan. 17432
Amaganset Way. Tustin. California. The location is in the C-2. General
Commercial Zone. .
WHEREAS. the Planning Commission findings are as follows:
1. The most logical zone for placement of the use "Motorcycle Rental Agency" is
. the C-2. General Commercial Zone.
2. Because of the nature of this use and the need to consider the effects of
such a business on the surrounding area. it is determined that such use be
subject to the issuance of a Conditional Use Permit therefore as prescribed
in Article 20 of Ordinance No. 638.
NOW. THEREFORE. BE IT RESOLVED that the Planning Commission of the City of Seal
Beach does'hereby determine that the proper zone for the use "Motorcycle Rental
Agency" is the C-2 Zone. but subject to the' issuance of a Conditional Use Permit.
and does recommend that the City Council approve said determination.
