UV-S-66, RESIDENTIAL USE IN A C-l ZONE (HERBERT L. BENEDICT) WHEREAS, in the matter of Use Variance Application No. UV-S-66, the Planning Commission of the City of Seal Beach does report as follows: 1. Subject case was initiated by Mr. and Mrs. Herbert L. Benedict, 9302 East Florence Ave., Downey, California. 2. Request is to permit construction of dwelling units in C-l Zone. 3. Legal description of the property is Lot 8, Block D, Tract No. 1 and Easterly fifteen feet of Lot 5, Block H, Tract NO. 1009. Street address is 1421 Seal Way, Seal Beach. WHEREAS, the Planning Commission findings are as follows: 1. There are many other residential dwelling units in this particular C-l Zone. 2. This proposed structure would be an t~provement for the area. 3. The propased.!atrqcture will conform to all code requirements for Multiple Residential Use. 4. No protests were received, written or oral. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Planning Commission of the City of Seal . Beach does hereby approve Use Variance UV-S-66 permitting construction of dwelling units in a C-l Zone as submitted, subject to the following condition: In accordance with Planning Commission Policy adopted January 13, 1964, this Use Variance shall not become effective until approved by the City Council of the City of Seal Beach.
