HomeMy WebLinkAboutPC Res 126 - 1967-05-17 . . . . . ;:-. RESOLUTION NO. 126 A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF SEAL BEACH APPROVING CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT APPLICATION NO. CP-1-67 FOR A HELISTOP AT NORTH AMERICAN AVIATION, IRC., 2201 BAY BOULEVARD, SEAL BEACH. WHEREAS, in the matter of Conditional Use Permit application No. CP-1-67, the Planning Commission does report as follows: 1. Subject case was initiated by North American Aviation, Inc., 1700 E. Imperial Highway, El Segundo, California. 2. Subject proposal is for a helicopter landing pad to be located on top of North American Aviation's 8 story building (No. 80) located at 2201 Bay Boulevard, Seal Beach. 3. Proposed use is allowable at this location with a Conditional Use Permit. WHEREAS, the Planning Commission findings are as follows: 1. Location of the helistop on top of the eight story building is logical and should provide minimum nuisance to neighbors and motorists. 2. Proposed flight pattern is not over any inhabited area and is acceptable. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Planning Commission of the City of Seal Beach does hereby approve Conditional Use Permit No. CP-1-67. ADOPTED AND APPROVED this 17th day of May, 1967. I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly adopte at a regular meeting of the Planning Commission of the City of Seal Beach which was held on Wednesday, May 17, 1967, and carried by the following vote: AYES: NOES: ABSENT: Commissioners: Commissioners: Commissioners: Crowley, Jones, Lanning, Murphy, Boeger None None :?~LJI JJ. t3~
