V-22-67 FOR A ONE FOOT QlEDiCATION'. IN EXTERIOR SIDE YARD FOR A CORNER LOT (CLARA AND ERNA SCHWEIKERT) .. WHEREAS, in the matter of Variance Application No. V-22-67, the Planning Commission of the City of Seal Beach does report as follows: 1. Subject case was initiated for Clara and Erna Schweikert, 301 - 17th Street, Seal Beach, California, by O. H. Carson, P.O. Box 215, Seal Beach, California. 2. Subject property is located at 301 - 17th Street and the legal description is Lot 1, Block 216, Tract 10. 3. Subject request is to allow construction of a new single family residence with a two car garage on a 25 foot wide corner lot. Normal exterior side yard on such a lot is 4 feet. Request is to allow a one foot reduction in this yard along the Ride of the garage only, to allow it to conform to normal require- ments of the Code. WHEREAS, the Planning Commission findings are as follows: 1. This is a reasonable request and is needed in order to conform to required garage width per Code and Commission policy. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Planning Commission of the City of Seal Beach does hereby approve Variance No. V-22-67.
