V-26-67 TO ALLOW A FAMILY ROOM ADDITION WITH 6 FOOT REAR YARD (644 ISLAND VIEW DR., CHARLES AND SHIRLEY LEDBETTER) WHEREAS, in the matter of Variance No. V-26-67, the Planning Commission of the City of Seal Beach does report as follows: 1. Subject case was initiated by Charles andc Shirley Ledbetter, 644 Island View Drive, Seal Beach, ~ep~esented by Louis Trevino. 2. Subject property is located at the above address and is also known as Lot 216, Tract 2590. 3. Subject request is to allow construction of a family room addition which encroaches within 6 feet of the rear line. Required rear yard is 10 feet. WHEREAS, the Planning Commission findings are as follows: 1. One verbal protest was received from Harvey Webb, 701 Taper Drive, commenting that this would be too crowded. 2. This case is similar to those approved in the past for this type of house design (interior patio) wit~ this kind of rear yard problem. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Planning Commission of the City of Seal Beach does hereby approve Variance No. V-26-67.
