RESOLUTION NO. 164
A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF SEAL BEACH APPROVING VARIANCE NO. V-27-67
TO ALLOW CONSTRUCTION OF A 2 UNIT APARTMENT
BUILDING WITH SECOND STORY PROJECTING 5 FEET
INTO THE REQUIRED 9 FOOT REAR YARD (115 DOLPHIN,
MR. & MRS. BENEDICT BAUDO)
WHEREAS. in the matter of Variance No. V-27-67. the Planning Commission of the
City of Seal Beach does report as follows:
1. Subject case was initiated by Mr. and Mrs. Benedict Baudo. 8518 East 6th St.,
Downey, California.
2. Subject property is Lot 14. Block A. Tract No.1, at 115 Dolphin Avenue.
3. Subject request is to allow construction of a two unit apartment building
with second story projecting 5'feet into the required 9 foot rear yard.
WHEREAS. the Planning Commission findings are as follows:
1. Rear line of ground floor is at the code required 9 foot setback. which
preserves the required 24 foot auto turning radius for exist.from the garage.
2. Many similar variances have been granted.
NOW, THEREFORE. BE IT RESOLVED that the Planning Commission of the City of Seal
Beach does hereby approve Variance NO. V-27-67.
ADOPTED AND APPROVED this 4th day of October, 1967.
