HomeMy WebLinkAboutPC Res 190 - 1967-12-06 . . . . . . . r , , RESOLUTION NO. 190 A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF SEAL BEACH APPROVING VARIANCE V-37-67 TO PERMIT TWO FOOT ENCROACHMENT INTO THE REQUIRED REAR YARD. (MOLANDER) WHEREAS, in the matter of Variance Application V-37-67, the Planning Commission of the City of Seal Beach does report as follows: 1. Subject case was initiated by Wilbur H. Molander, 1728 Catalina Ave., Seal Beach. 2. Subject property is described as Lot 317, Tract 2590. 3. Subject request is to permit construction of an addition to an existing structure which would encroach two feet into a portion of the required rear yard. WHEREAS, the Planning Commission findings are as follows: 1. Required rear yard is 10 foot. Existing rear yard is 22 feet in depth. 2. Proposed addition would encroach two feet into a"porUoui of the.'required rear yard and retaining the 22 foot depth in the balance of the rear yard. 3. Proposed addition would match the existin~ architecture and would become an integral part of the existing structure. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Planning Commission of the City of Seal Beach does hereby approve Variance V-37-67 subject to the condition-.stated in Finding No.3. ADOPTED AND APPROVED this 6th day of December. I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly adopted at a regular meeting of the Planning Commission of the City of Seal Beach which was held on Wednesday, December 6, 1967, and carried by the following vote: AYES: NOES: ABSENT: Commissioners: Commissioners: Commissioners: Boeger, Crowley, Murphy, Peters None Lanning Commission /7~~
