AMENDING OF ORDINANCE 628 (ZONING) ARTICLE '" ..
SECTION 400 (11), SE~IlACK OF SW~IING POOLS AND
ACCESSORY POOL EQUI1~ENT.
WHEREAS, in the ~Rtter of setbacks of swimming pools and access~ry pool equipment,
the Planning Commicsion of the City oC Seal .Beach does report as follows:
1. The increasing .number of small lots and hence, small rear yards in thill City,
has made construction of Gwi1lll1ling pools difficult (because of setbacks).'
2. Swimming pools and associated pool equipment built ~l conforn.anee with the
Unifurm Buildirlg Code requiremonts 110 not interfere with licht, air or
ventilation.
3. Setbacks for l'wilToII1ing pools aud associated pool equipment can be lessened.
