V-17-68 FOR A FOUR FOOT ENCROACHMENT OF TIlE SECOND FLOOR INTO THE REAR YARD. (CHRISTENSEN) WHEREAS. in the matter of Variance No. V-17-68. the Planning Commission of the City of Seal Beach does report ss follows: 1. Subject request initiated by Harold P. Christensen. 17092 Grove Circle. Huntington Beach. California. , 2. Subject property is legally described as Lot 9. Block 106. Bay City Tract and located at 209 7th St.. Seal Beach. 3. Subject request is to permit construction of a new building to encroach 4'6" into the required rear yard setback. WHEREAS. the Planning Commission findings are as follows: 1. Granting variance would not be detrimental to the neighborhood. 2. Similar variances have been permitted in the past for second story encroach- ments. 3. No written complaints were received. 4. This request will not adversely affect the General Plan. NOW. THEREFORE. BE IT RESOLVED that the Planning Commission of the City of Seal Beach does hereby approve Variance No. V-17-68.
