RESOLUTION NO. 285
A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF SEAL BEACH APPROVING
VARIANCE NO. V-5-69 FOR A FOUR FOOT
ENCROACHMENT OF THE SECOND FLOOR INTO
THE REAR YARD SETBACK. (MONEY)
WHEREAS, in the matter of Variance No. V-5-69, the Planning Commission of the
City of Seal BEach does report as follows:
1. Subject request initiated by Mr. William A. Money, 5415 Daggett St., Long
Beach, California.
2. Subject property is legally described as Lot 29, Block 6, Bay City Tract,
and located at 129 7th St., Seal Beach.
3. Subject request is for a four foot encroachment of the second floor into
the rear yard setback.
IDIEREAS, the Planning Commission findings are as follows:
1. The proposed entrance door is so located where the lower room could be
converted easily into a separate living unit.
2. Request for rear overhang of second floor is similar to other requests
granted in the past.
3. This variance will not adversely affect the General Plan.
4. No oral or written complaints were received.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that'the Planning Commission of the City of
Seal Beach docs hereby approve Variance No. V-5-69 for a four foot overhang of
the second story into the rear yard with the provision that the entrance door-
way be relocated approximately fourteen feet to the right along the rear wall
such that entrance will be through the storage closet at the corner of the
building.
ADOPTED AND APPROVED this 5th day of February, 1969.
