RESOLUTION NO. 293 A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF SEAL BEACH APPROVING VARIANCE APPLICATION V-2-69 FOR SECOND STORY ENCROACHMENT INTO REAR YARD (SHARON) WHEREAS, in the matter of Variance Application No. V-2-69, the Planning Commission of the City of Seal Beach does report as follows: 1. Subject case was initiated by M. A. Sharon, 142 10th St., Seal Beach. 2. Subject property is described as Lots 29 and 31, Block 11, Bay City Tract. Street addresses are 129 and 131 12th Street, Seal Beach. 3. Subject request is for a three foot six inch encroachment of the second stories of the two buildings into the rear yard setbacks. WHEREAS, the Planning Commission findings are as follows: 1. Granting the variance would not be detrimental to the neighborhood. 2. Similar variances have been permitted in the past for second story encroachments. 3. No written or oral protests were made. 4. This request will not adversely affect the General Plan. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Planning Commission of the City of Seal Beach does hereby approve Variance No. V-2-69. In addition, the Planning Commission directs the Building Department to proceed with granting of ~he'building permit whether or not the permit is actually issued prior to March I, 1969.
