HomeMy WebLinkAboutPC Res 300 - 1969-02-22 . . . RESOLUTION NO. 300 A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF SEAL BEACH APPROVING VARIANCE APPLICATION NO. V-13A-69. (LINTON) WHEREAS, in the matter of Variance Application No. V-lJA-69, the Planning Commission of the City of Seal Beach does report as follows: 1. Subject case was initiated by Mr. and Mrs. R. Linton, 230 6th St., Apt. 3, Seal Beach. Their authorized representative was Darryl Sapien, 3845 Pacific Cost Highway, Torrance. 2. Subject property is described as Lot 30, Block 106, Bay City Tract. Street address is 230 6th St., Seal Beach. 3. Subject request is to enlarge and existing unit and have the second story encroach into the rear yard setback on a lot zoned R-3 Multiple Residential. WHEREAS, the Planning Commission findings are as follows: 1. Granting of this variance would not be detrimental to the area. 2. Similar variances have been granted in the past for the second story to encroach into the rear yard. . 3. No protests were received. 4. This request will not adversely affect the General Plan. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Planning Commission of the City of Seal Beach does hereby approve Variance No. V-lJA-69 as submitted and directs the Building Department to proceed with granting of the building permit whether or not the permit is actually issued prior to March I, 1969.
