A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF SEAL BEACH ESTABLISHING A DEADLINE FOR ACTION OF THE APPLICATION BY SHELL OIL CO., V-18-69. WHEREAS, in the matter of Variance Application No. V-18-69, the Planning Commission of the City of Seal Beach does report as follows: 1. Subject request was initiated by Shell Oil Co., Box 7575, Long Beach, Calif., authorized representatives of Jessie Segna, 917 Wellesley Ave., West Los Angeles, Calif. 2. Subject property is described as Lots 35, 37, 39, 41 and 43, Block 208, Stanton and Lothian's First Addition. 3. Subject proposal is to install service station island covers to encroach into the required setback. WHEREAS, the Planning Commission findings are as follows: 1. Heighth of the island covers would preclude any hazard to pedestrians or vehicular traffic. 2. Other stations in the area have island covers encroaching into the setback. . 3. At their meeting of April 16, 1969, the Commission requested that detailed plans be submitted showing landscaping and other improvements to bring the station site closer to conformity to adopted service station development and operations standards. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Planning Commission of the City of Seal Beach does hereby establish the date of June 4, 1969, as the final date for action to be taken on subject application. If no improvements are made or detailed plans submitted, the application will be dismissed on that date.
