HomeMy WebLinkAboutPC Res 319 - 1969-05-07 . . . , . . RESOLUTION NO. 319 A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF SEAL BEACH APPROVING VARIANCE NO. V-19-69 (ARBOIT) WHEREAS, in the Matter of Variance Application No. V-19-69, the Planning Commission of the City of Seal Beach does report as follows: 1. Subject proposal was initiated by Robert Arboit, 133 Harvard Lane, Seal Beach. The authorized representative was Silver Crest Const. Co., 14008 S. Pioneer Blvd., Norwalk. 2. Subject property is described as Lot 9, Tract 5847. 3. Subject proposal is to permit construction of a stairwell along one side of the existing garage interior for access to a new family room to be constructed over the garage. WHEREAS, the Planning Commission findings are as follows: 1. A similar variance was granted in the same area recently. 2. Existing garage door will not be altered and actual parking space will not be affected. 3. Addition of a second story room and encroachment into the garage area will not be detrimental to the area. 4. Granting of this variance will not affect the General Plan. 5. No protests, written or oral, were received. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Planning Commission of the City of Seal Beach does hereby approve Variance V-19-69 as submitted. ADOPTED AND APPROVED THIS 7th day of May, 1969.
