RESOLUTION NO. 350 A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF SEAL BEACH MAKING A DETERMINATION OF THE PROPER ZONE FOR PRIVATE TENNIS CLUB. mlEREAS, in the matter of the proper zone for location of private tennis club, the Planning Commission of the City of Seal Beach does report as follows: 1. The use "Private Tennis Club" is not designated specifically in the Seal Beach Zoning Ordinance (No. 628). 2. A request for permission to use the parcel of land bordered by Lampson, Basswood, and the Garden Grove, San Diego Freeway. This location is zoned C-2, General Commercial Zone. mlEREAS, the Planning Commission findings are as follows: 1. One of the logical zones for placement of the use "Private Tenn:l!l' Club" is the C-2, General Commercial Zone. 2. Because of the nature of this use and the need to consider the effects of such a business on the surrounding area, it is determined that such use be subject to the issuance of a Conditional Use Permit therefore as prescribed in Article 20 of Ordinance No. 628. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Planning Commission of the City of Seal Beach does hereby determine that the proper zone for the use "Private Tennis Club" is the C-2 Zone, but subject to the issuance of a Conditional Use Permit, and does recommend that the City Council approve said determination.
