RESOLUTION NO. 376
A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OF SEAL BEACH APPROVING VARIANCE V-35-69 FOR AN
ADDITION-FAMILY ROOM OVER AN EXISTING GARAGE
(RAGLAND) .
WHEREAS, in the matter of Variance No. V-35-69 the Planning Commission
of the City of Seal Beach does report as follows:
1. Subject request initiated by Mr. & Mrs. W. R. Ragland, 1103~ Seal
Way, Seal Beach, California.
2. Subject property is legally described as Lot 13, Block F, Tract
1009, located at 1211 Seal Way.
3. Subject request to enlarge an existing three bedroom unit by
adding a family room.
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission findings are as follows:
1. The unit in question is a three bedroom duplex on Seal l~ay Alley.
2. The on-site parking requirement for a three bedroom unit is 2:1.

3. The site would require four on-site parking spaces to comply with
code standards.
4. Applicant stated that the addition would only be used as a family
room and therefore not increase the density of the units.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Planninp: CommiSSion of the City
of Seal Beach does hereby approve Variance No. V-35-69, subject to the
condition that a covenant be recorded stipulating that the addition will
be used only as a family room and no outside stairway or access will be
constructed.
ADOPTED AND APPROVED this 5th day of November, 1969.
