A RESOWTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF SEAL BEACH DENYING PLAN REVIEW PR-58-70
FOR AN INTERIOR LIGHTED, ROOF MOUNTED SIGN AT
THE BAY LIQUOR STORE, 1780 PACIFIC COAST HWY.
(HANSHAW)
WHEREAS, in the matter of Plan Review PR-58-70, the Plannin~ Commission of the
City of Seal Beach does report as follows:
1. Subject request initiated William D. Hanshaw (Bay Liquors), 1780 Pacific Coast
Highway, Seal Beach, with Mr. Leonard Vanzanten as their authorized agent.
2. Subject property is located at 1780 Pacific Coast Highway, Seal Beach.
3. Subject request is for an interior lighted, roof mounted, 4' by 30' sign
at the site.
mmREAS, the Planning Commission findings are as follows:
1. Existing signing at the site is already excessive.
2. Additional lighted signing at the location in question would have a
detrimental effect on adjacent residential properties.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Planning Commission of the City of Seal
Beach does hereby deny Plan Review No. PR-58-70.
ADOPTED AND APPROVED this 16th day of December, 197

meeting of the Planning Commission of the City of Seal Beach which was held on
