A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF SEAL BEACH APPROVING PLAN REVIEW
NO. PR-37-70 FOR PERMANENT AND TEMPORARY
IDENTIFICATION SIGNS FOR THE SEAL BEACH COUNTRY
CLUB APARTMENTS. (DOW CHEMICAL/SEAL BEACH
COUNTRY CLUB APARTMENTS)
WHEREAS, in the matter of Plan Review Application No. PR-37-70
the Planning Commission of the City of Seal Beach does report as
follows:
1. Subject case was initiated by Dow Chemical Co., Midland, Michigan,
represented by Seal Beach Country Ciub Apartments, 2222 Corinth
Avenue, Los Angeles.
2. Legal description of property on file with the Planning Department
street address 333 First Street.
3. Subject request is for approval of two permanent and two temporary
identification signs.
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission findings are as follows:
1. Signing restrictions will conform to provisions in Planning
Commission Resolutions No. 385.
2. The lower panel of the permanent sign located at the intersection
of First Street and Pacific Coast Highway will be deleted from
the plans because it could restrict traffic visibility.
3. The signs will be illuminated by exterior lighting installed in
the landscaped areas adjacent to the sign.
NOW, THEREFOR~, BE IT RESOLVED that the Planning Commission of the City
of Seal Beach does hereby approve Plan Review PR-37-70 subject to the con-
ditions described in Findings No.1, 2, and 3.

I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly adopted at a

which was held on Wednesday, August 5, 1970, and carried by the
