RESOLUTION NO. 434
A RESOLUTION OF TIlE PLANNING CONMISSION OF TIlE
CITY OF SEAL BEACH APPROVING CONDITIONAL USE
PER}IIT APPLICATION CP-5-70 TO ALLOW SALE OF
ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES AT A PROPOSED HOTEL.
(HOLIDAY INNS OF AMERICA)(NARLAND CORPORATION)
WHEREAS, in the matter of Conditional Use Permit Application No. CP-5-70, the
Planning Commission of the City of Seal Beach does report as follows:
1. Subject application was initiated by Narland Corporation, 2781 Aliso Creek Rd.,
Laguna Niguel, whose authorized agent is Holiday Inns of America, Inc. of
1721 N. Highland Ave., Los Angeles.
2. Legal description of parcel on file with the City Planning Department. Street
address will be 2900 Westminster Ave., Seal Beach.
3. Subject proposal is to establish a restaurant serving alcoholic beverages with
meals and a cocktail lounge in conjunction with hotel operations.
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission findings are as follows:
1. On-site sale of liquor at the hotel would not he a detriment to the general area.
2. Liquor sales, at the lounge and restaurant, are provided as a customer service
. by the hotel.
3. No protests, written or oral, were received regarding the sale of liquor on-site.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Planning Commission of the City of Seal
Beach does hereby approve Conditional Use Permit No. CP-5-70 for on-site sale of
liquor at a proposed hotel.
ADOPTED AND APPROVED this 13th day of May, 1970.
