HomeMy WebLinkAboutPC Res 424 - 1970-05-06 . . . . ..~ RESOLUTION NO. 424 A RESOLUTION OF TIlE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF SEAL BEACH APPROVING VARIANCE V-10-70 PERMITTING ENCROACHMENT OF LIVING QUARTERS INTO PORTIONS OF TIlE SIDEYARDS AND THE REAR YARD ABOVE THE FIRST FLOOR. (SHERMAN) WHEREAS, in the matter of Variance No. V-10-70, the Planninr. Commission of the City of Seal Beach does report as follows: 1. Subject case was initiated by Charles Sherman III, 223 W. 7th St., Long Beach, and represented by Dwight Bennett, Architects, 3929 Long Beach Blvd., Long Beach. 2. Subject property is described as Lots 7 & 8, Block 219, Tract No. 10. Street address will be 1615 Electric Ave. 3. Subject requests a four foot setback on portions of the sideyards and a five foot cantilever into the rear yard setback above the first floor. WHEREAS, the Planning Commission findings are as follows: 1. Variances of a similar nature have been granted previously. 2. Plans indicate that on-site parking will be provided at a ratio of 1.5:1. ~ 3. No protests were received. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Planning Commission of the City of Seal Beach does hereby approve Variance V-10-70 as submitted. ADOPTED AND APPROVED this 6th day of May, 1970.
