CP-3-70, ON-SALE LIQUOR ESTABLISHMENT IN A C-2 ZONE. (BABCOCK) WHEREAS, in the ma~ter of Conditignal Use Permit Application CP-3-70, the Planning Commission of the City of Seal Beach does report as follows: 1. Subject proposal was initiated by Walter R. Babcock, 3012 Brimhall Dr., Las Alamitos, Calif., as the authorized agent of the property owner Cecille M. Hillmer. 2. Subject property is described as Lots 1 and 3, Block 108, Bay City Tract, and is located at 201 and 203 Main St. 3. Subject proposal is for on-sale draft been and wine at a proposed seafood restaurant. WHEREAS, the Planning Commission findings are as follows: 1. Basic proposal is for seafiood restaurant and fish market with the on-sale liquor a complimentary use only. 2. One letter was received fromc3ohrl Nescher, merchant located on the opposite corner, favoring the planned use. 3. Applicant plans to remodel the exterior of the building by an overhanging facade in keeping the Main St. atmosphere. necessary to prevent obstruction of traffic vision. the addition of Certain modifications NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Planning Commission of the City of Seal Beach does hereby approve Conditional Use Permit No. CP-3-70 subject to the modification of the facade and approval of said facade by the City Council.
