RESOLUTION NO. 402
A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF SEAL BEACH APPROVING PLAN REVIEW PR-4-70,
SITE AND DEVELOPMENT PLANS FOR SECURITY PACIFIC
NATIONAL BANK AT 8TH ST. AND PACIFIC COAST HIGHWAY.
WHEREAS, in the matter of Plan Review PR-4-70, the Planning Commission of the City
of Seal Beach does report as follows:
1. Subject case was initiated by Security Pacific National Bank, 411 S. Main St.,
Los Angeles, with Tom and Truckier, Architects, as their authorized representatives.
2. Subject property is described as Lots 25, 27, 29, 31, 33 and 35, Block 207 of
Stanton and Lothian's First Addition, and is located at the southwesterly
corner of Eighth Street and Pacific Coast Highw~.
3. Subject proposal is for approval of site and development plans for the construction
of a bank building.
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission findings are as follows:
1. All of the property except Lot 25 is zoned C-l and a bank is an allowable use.
A Conditional Use Permit has been approved for Lot 25 to be used for parking
in conjunction with a commercial use.
2. Landscaping and identification sign are not included in this review and are
subject to future review.
3. Developer to install sidewalks, curb modifications and alley improvements.to
the satisfaction of the City Engineer.
4. The on-site traffic pattern flow to be modified to prevent traffic hazards on
abutting public streets.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Planning COllllllission of the City of Seal
Beach does approve Plan Review PR-4-70 subject to the conditions listed in Findings
Nos. 3 and 4 above and specifically excluding approval of landscaping and identification
sign.
