CP-1-70 TO ALLOW CONSTRUCTION OF A PARKING LOT IN THE R-3 MULTIPLE RESIDENTIAL ZONE IN CONJUNCTION WITH A COMMERCIAL USE. (FRANK FINCH.::SECURITY PACIFIC NATIONAL BANK) WHEREAS, in the matter of Conditional Use Permit No. CP-1-70, the Planning Commission of the City of Seal Beach does report as follows: 1. Subject request was initiated by Security Pacific National Bank, 411 South l4ain Street, Los Angeles, the authorized agent of Frank Finch. 2. Subject property is described as Lot 25, Block 207, Stanton and Lothian's First Addition, Seal Beach. 3. Subject request is to allow construction of a portion of a parking lot in the R-3 Multiple Residential Zone in conjunction with a proposed commercial use. WHEREAS, the Planning Commission findings are as follows: 1. The residenteally zoned property is presently being used in conjunction with the commercial property as a single activity. 2. This proposed parking lot is an essential to the bank's development plans. 3. Twenty parking spaces will be provided. This is in excess of the number required by code. 4. The parking lot will be screened by a wall from the adjacent residential property. 5. Further plan reviews will be necessary for the building, signing, landscaping and site approval. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Planning Commission of the City of Seal Beach does hereby approve Conditional Use Permit CP-1-70 subject to the dedication of a ten foot wide strip of property along Pacific Coast Highway.
