RESOLUTION NO. 594
A RESOLtJ'rION OF THE PLABNING COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF SEAL BEACH APPROVIIIG VARIANCE V-32-1l
FOR THE ERECTIOIl OF AN ILLUMINATED SIGN AT THE
ASSEMBLY OF GOD COMMUNITY CHAPEL.
WHEREAS, in the matter ot Variance Application No. V-32-1l, the Planning CCIIlIIIission
ot the City ot Seal Beach does report as tollows:
1. Subject case initiated by Assembly ot God CClllllUDity Chapel, 919 Electric
Ave., Seal Beach.
2. Subject property is described as Lots 9 and 10, Block 209, ~ View Tract,
COllllllOnly known as 919 Electric Ave.
3. Subject proposal is to erect a 3' x 5' 1lluminated idenhtication sign
tor a church in a R-3 Zone. S1gn to be installed 011 the tront wall of the
building.
WHEREAS, the Planning CCIIlIIIisB10n t1nd1DgS are as follows:
1. Property 18 adjacent to C-2 zoned property where such B1gns are permitted.
2. The area is dark and illumination is needed tor persODS to locate the church.
3. Front ot the church faces a strip of uninhabited property and sign will
not be detrimental to the area.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVEDI that the P1anning COIIIIIIission ot the City of
Seal Beach does hereby approve Variance V-32-1l.
