RESOWTION NO 577 A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF SEAL BEACH APPROVING V-25-7l FOR AN 18 FOOT WIDE GARAGE TO BE USED IN CONJUNCTION WITH A PROPOSED SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENCE IN THE R-2 ZONE (SLEETH/GAGNON) WHEREAS, 1n the matter of Var1ance App11cat10n V-25-7l, the Plann1Dg C0lJDJI1SS1on of the C1ty of Seal Beach does report as follows 1 Subject request was 1n1t1ated by Gerald1ne Sleeth, 404 Ocean Ave , Seal Beach, w1th Guy Gagnon act1Dg as author1zed agent 2 Subject property 1S descr1bed as the southerly 1/2 of Lot 27 and northerly 1/2 of Lot 25, Block 215, Tract No 10, otherw1se known as 327 16th St. 3 Subject request 1S to allow the construct10n of an 18 foot w1de garage 1n l1eu of code requ1red 20 foot when 1n conjunct1on w1th a s1ngle fam1ly res1dence WHEREAS, the Plann1ng Comm1ss10n f1nd1DgS are as follows 1 The proposed s1Dgle fam1ly res1dence 1S located 1n the R-2 Zone on a lot 25 feet 1n w1dth 2 Ma1nta1n1Dg the requ1red s1deyard setbacks would preclude the poss1b1l1ty of construct1ng the code requ1red 20 foot w1de garages 3 Var1ance requests of a s11D1lar nature have been granted prev10usly 4 No protests were rece1ved NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Plann1ng COIDDI1ss10n of the C1ty of Seal Beach does hereby approve Var1ance V-25-7l subject to the cond1t1ons 1mposed by the C1 ty Eng1neer and that the plans be rev1Sed to el1lD1nate the f'1replace encroachment ADOPTED AND APPROVED th1s I hereby cert1f'y that the forego1ng resolut10n was duly adopted at a regular meet1Dg of the Plann1ng COIDDI1ss10n of the C1ty of Seal Beach Wh1Ch was held on Wednesday, October 20, 1971, and carr1ed by the follow1ng vote AYES NOES ABSENT Comm1ss10ners Comm1ss10ners Comm1ss10ners Dunn, Knapp, Lann1ng, O'Toole, R1pperdan None None ,.~ "'~ t~ '_"'00 -3:2.1- /(P~~y ~
