RESOWTION NO 568 A RESOLUTION OF THE: PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE: CITY OF SEAL BEACH APPROVING VARIANCE V-19-7l ALLOWING A 3' 4" SECOND STORY ENCROACHMENT INTO THE REAR YARD SETBACK IN THE: R-2 ZONE (RUGER) WHEREAS, 1n the matter of Var1ance App11cat1on V-19-7l, the Plann1ng Comm1ss1on of the C1ty of Seal Beach does report as follows 1 Subject request was 1n1t1ated by Robert Ruger, 1849 Spruce St , South Pasadena, w1th R1chard Grossgold act1ng as h1s author1zed agent 2 Subject property descr1bed as Lot 39 and southerly 1/2 of Lot 41, Block 221, Tract 10, otherw1Se known as 239 15th St , Seal Beach 3 Subject request 1S for a 3'4" cant1lever of the second story 1nto the rear yard setback allOW1ng the construct1on of a un1t add1t1on on sa1d property WHEREAS, the Plann1ng Comm1S S10n f1nd1ngs are as follows 1 S1m1lar var1ances have been granted 1n the recent past 1n the same v1c1n1ty and zone 2 The grant1ng of such var1ance would not adversely effect the General Plan NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Plann1ng Comm1ss1on of the C1ty of Seal Beach does hereby approve Var1ance V-19-7l subJect to the cond1t1on that the wall between one bedroom and the master bedroom be removed thus convert1ng the eX1St1ng S1ngle f8lll1ly res1dence 1nto a two bedroom dwel11ng un1t.
