RESOLUTION NO 547 A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF SEAL BEACH APPROVING VARIANCE V-12-7l TO PERMIT AN ADDITION TO A SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENCE WITH AN 18 FOOT WIDE GARAGE IN THE R-2 ZONE (TAYLOR) WHEREAS, ~n the matter of Var~ance Appl~cat~on V-12-7l, the Plann~ng Comm1Ss~on of the C~ty of Seal Beach does report as follows 1 SubJect case was ~n~ t~ated by Robert T~lor, 239 16th St , Seal Beach 2 SubJect property ~s descr~bed as Lot 39 and Sly 1/2 of Lot 41, Block 220, Tract No 10, commonly known as 239 16th St 3 SubJect proposal ~s to perm~t an add~t~on cons~st~ng of two bedrooms and a bath over an ex~st~ng s~ngle fam1ly res~dence w~th an 18 foot w~de garage ~n heu of the 20 foot w~de garage requued w~th s~ngle fam~ly use WHEREAS, the Plann~ng Comm~ss~on f~nd~ngs are as follows 1 E~ghteen foot w~de garages are acceptable w~th mult~-fam~1y use ~n the R-2 Zone 2 One of the ex~st~ng garages does not appear to be usable and presently be~ng used for laundry fac~l~t~es 3 Add~t~on to be used ~n conJunct~on w~th the ex~st~ng s~ngle fam~1y un~t NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Planmng Comm~ss~on of the C~ty of Seal Beach does hereby approve Var~ance V-12-7l w~th the cond~t~ons (1) Laundry to be relocated from the ex~st~ng garage, (2) garage space to rem&n open and acces~'ble for veh'cleq, Rnd (3) appl~cant to execute a Land Use ~reement w~th the ('~ty of Seal Beach lm~tJ.ng the property to sJ.ngle fwulV use ADOPTED AND APPROVED th~s 16th d~ of June, :iJ~ CammJ.s on/ I hereby certJ.fy that thp foregoJ.ng resolutJ.on waq duly adopted at a regular meetJ.~ of the PlannJ.ng Comm~ssJ.on of the CJ.tv of Seal Rpach whJ.ch was held on Wednesd~, June 16, 1971, and carrJ.ed by the followJ.ng vote AYES NOES ABSENT Dorr, Knapp, Lann~ng, 0' Toole, R~ pnerdan None None CanmJ.q~J.oners CanmJ.ssJ.oners CommJ.ss~oners Secretary CanmJ.ssJ.on ~39- J~-4t~
