A RESOLUTION OF TIlE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OF SEAL BEACH APPROVING PR-17-72 FOR THE REPLACEMENT
OF A SIGN READING "ENCO" WITH A SIGN READING "GULF"
AT A SERVICE STATION ON PACIFIC COAST HIGHWAY.
WHEREAS, in the matter of Plan Review PR-17-72, the Planning Commission of
the City of Seal Beach does report as follows:
1. Subject case initiated by George Pearson, 1300 Pacific Coast Highway,
Seal Beach.
2. Subject property described as Lots 30, 32, 34, 36, Block 213, Tract 10
(1300 Pacific Coast Highway).
3. Subject proposal is to replace an existing service station sign reading
"Enco" with a sign reading "Gulf".
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission findings are as follows:
1. Applicant proposes to lower the overall height of the sign to 25 feet.
2. Applicant indicated that the proposed sign would not flash or rotate.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Planning Commission of the City of
Seal Beach does hereby approve PR-17-72 subject to engineering conditions
and height of the sign held at 25 feet maximum.
