V-52-12 FOR THE ADDITION OF A UlUT TO Al'l EXISTING NON CONFORMING BUILDING, NON CONFORMING BY REASON OF LESS THAN REQUIRED PARKING SPACES AND LESS THAN MINIMUM SIDE YARDS. (STROTHEIi ) WHEREAS, 1n 'the ma't'ter of Variance Application No. V-52-12, 'the Planning Commission of 'the City of Seal Beach does -report as follows: 1. Subject case initiated by E. R. Strother, 232 5'th St., Seal Beach 2. Subject property described as Lo't 32 & ~ Lot 34,; Block 105, Bay City Trac't (232 5th St.) 3. SubJec't proposal is 'to construct a unit addition to an existing non conforming building in the R-3 zone, non conforming by reason of less 'than required number of parking spaces and substandard side yards. WHEREAS, the Planning Commission findings are as follows: 1. Applicant stated that the building was designed for 4 units bu't only 3 units were constructed. . 2. Members of Planning Commission s'ta'ted 'tha't when units were proposed to be added, the policy has been to required the property to be brought up to code. 3. No hardship o'ther 'than economic is demonstrated by 'the applicant. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Planning Commission of 'the City of Seal Beach does hereby deDJ V-52-12. ADOPTED AND APPROVED this l8'th day of Oc'tober, 1912.
