RESOLUTION NO. 691
A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY
01." SEAL BEACH APPROVING VARIANCE NO. V-5o-12 FOR
TWO PARKING SPACES OF LESS THAN THE REQUIRED LENGTH
(GYLER )
WHEREAS, in the matter of Variance Application no. V-50-12. the Planning
Commission of the City of Seal Beach does report as follows:

Subject case initiated by Emanuel Gyler. 3606 Parkviev Dr.. Lakewood.
Subject property described as Lots 5.6.1. Block D. Tract #1

Subject proposal is to have two parking spaces of 18' in length in
conjunction with a proposed apartment complex

WHEREAS. the Planning Commission findings are as follows:
1. SilbJect property is irregularly shpaed making it difficult to provide
all parking spaces of 20' length.
2. Authorized agent felt that the concept of "Clllllpact car" spaces was valid
as the concept of tandem parking.
3. Most automobiles could be parked in spaces of the size proposed.
NOW, THEREFORE. BE IT RESOLVED that the Planning Commission of the City of
Seal Beach does hereby approve V-50-12 subject to the approval of A-5-12 and
the subm1Ssion of an Envirlllllental Evaluation Form.
