RESOLUTION NO. 689
A RESOLUTION OF Tlffi PLANNING COMMJSSION OF THE CJTY OF SEAL
BEACH APPROVING VARIANCE NO. V-47-72 FOR A 2 UNIT ADDITION
AND AN ADDITION TO AN EXI!;TING NON CONFORMING STRUCTURE IN
THE R-3 ZONE, NON CONFORMING BY REASON OF SUBSTANDARD SIDE
YARDS. (SHADDOX)
~~EREAS, in the matter of Variance Application No. V-47-72, the Planning
Commission of the City of Seal Beach does report as follows:
1. Subject case init1ated by Wayne Shaddox, 222 7th St., Seal Beach
2. SubJect property described as Lots 22 & 24, Block 107, nay City Tract
(222 7th St.)
3. Subject proposal is to construct 2 units and an addition to an existing
non conformin~ structure 1n the R-3 zone, non conforming by reason of
substandard side yards.
mlEREAS, the Planning Commission findin~s are as follows:
1. Proposed addition would maintain existing building setbacks.
2. Two new units would meet code in all respects.
3.
A total of 6 DarkinR spaces are proposed for the 3 un1ts.
NOli!, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Planning Commission of the City of
Seal Beecn does hdDeby approve V-47-72 sub1ect to the followinR condltions:
1. Complicance with en~ineerinR conditions
2. LandscapinR plans to sat1sfaction of staff
3. Land use agreeroent limiting units to 3, holdin~ parking for vehicle
parking and annual inspect10n.
