RESOLUTION NO. 660 A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF SEAL BEACH APPROVING VARIANCE V-32-72 TO PERMIT A FOUR UNIT APARTMENT BUILDING WITH TAlIDEM PARKING, .25 UNIT OVER DEJlSITY, ENCROACHMENT INTO REQUIRED SIDE YARD AND A CURB CUT FOR PARKING OFP OF 13TH STREET. (HUDSON) WHEREAS, in the matter of Variance Application V-32~72. the Planning Commission of the City of Seal Beach does report as follows: 1. Subject case initiated by Robert Hudson, P.O. Box 252, Downey, CA. 2. Subject property described as Lot 18, Block G, Tract No. 1009. 3. Subject proposal is to construct a four unit apartment building in the R-3 zone with variance for: tandem parking, curb cut on 13th St., .25 unit over density and less than required side yard. WHEREAS, the Planning Commission findings are as follows: 1. No on-street parking is permitted on this side of 13th Street. . 2. .25 unit over density has been approved in the past. 3. Sideyard encroachment is to permit legal length parking stalls to be built. 4. Tandem parking has been approved in the past. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Planning Commission of the City of Seal Beach does hereby approve Variance V-32-72 with the following conditions: (1) firewall be installed in parking areas, (2) entrances to units to be modified to meet code, (3) landscaping plans to be submitted to the satisfaction of the staff, (4) eLgineering conditions be met, and (5) a land use agreement be executed stipulating the maximum number of unit be four, parking spaces remain open and unobstructed for vehicular parking, and the right to enter and inspect the premises snnually. ADOPTED AND APPROVED this 2nd dsy of August, 1972. I hereby certify that the foreging resolution was duly adopted at s regular meeting of the Plsnning Commission of the City of Seal Beach which was held on Wednesday, August 2, 1972, and carried by the following vote: .
