RESOLUTION NO. 659 A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF SEAL BEACH DETERMINING A DEFINITION OF A "DINNER HOUSE RESTAURANT" WHEREAS, in the matter of determining a definition of "Dinner House Restaurant," the Planning Commission of the City of Seal Beach does report as follows: 1. Subject request was initiated by Southwest Properties (Southrich Co.), P.O. Box 5387, Orange, CA. 2. The zoning ordinances do not contain a definition of "Dinner House Restaurant." 3. Planning Commission Resolution No. 103 approving Precise Plan PP-1-66 designated the use "Dinner House Restaurant" for a parcel of land within the City of Seal Beach. WHEREAS, the Planning Commission findings are as follows: 1. An ambiguity exists due to lack of a definition for "Dinner House Restaurant." 2. The follOWing definition is proposed: "Dinner House Restaurant means a retail food service establishment in which food is ordered from a menu, served by waiters or waitresses for consumption on the premises." NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Planning Commission of the City of Seal Beach does hereby determine thst the definition of a "Dinner House Restaurant" is- as shown in Findings No. 2 above. ADOPTED AND APPROVED this 19th day of July, 1972.
