RESOLUTION NO. 648
A RESOLlITION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OF SEAL BF..ACH APPROVING VARIANCE APPT.ICATION NO.
V-26-72 TO PERMIT TilE ENCLOSURE OF A PATIO IN AN
EXISTING NON CO~FO~IING DWELLING.
~IEREAS, in the matter of Variance Application V-26-72, the Plannin~ Commission
of the City of Seal Beach does report as follows:
1. Subject case 1nitiated by Mr. & Mrs. Terry O'Connell, 618 Ocean Ave., S.B.
2. Subject property described as portions of lots 8, 9, 12 & 13, Block 6,
Tract 2, commonly known as 618 Ocean Avenue, Seal Beach.
3. Subject proposal is to enclose an exist1ng patio on a non conformin~
dwelling unit in RI-District I ~one, non conforming because of less
than required parking spaces.
InlEREAS, the Planning Commission findings are as follows:
1. Garageq are less than code requirements in si~e.
2. One legal garage was converted in 1960 to a bathroom and plav room.
3. Proposed encloqed patio would not increase thp degree of non-conformitv
nor density.
NOH, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Planning Commiqsion of the City of Seal
Beach does hereby approve Variance Application V-26-72 aq submitted.
