RESOLUTION NO. 646
A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF SEAL BEACH APPROVING VARIANCE v-24-12
TO PERMIT A 10 UNIT APARTMENT COMPLEX IN AN
R-3 ZONE WITH .21 UNIT OVER CODE MAXIMUM
(CREIGHTON/BURGESS-DONOVAN)
WHEREAS, in the matter of Variance Application No. V-24-12, the Planning COIDIIIiBsion
of the City of Seal Beach does report as follows:
1. Subject case iDl.tiated by Mildred Creighton and Lucile Farr, 119 1th St.,
Seal Beach" With Burgess-Donovan, Inc. designated as, the authorized
representative.
2. Subject property described as Lots 15, 11 and 19, Block 6, Bay City Tract,
cCllDlllonly known as 119 1th St.
3. Subject proposal is to construct a ten unit apartment complex with less than
the prescribed lot area/dwelling unit in the R-3 zone. (9.19 units allowed)
WHEREAS, the Planning CCllllllission flndings are as follows:
1. Appllcant is providing two addihonal parking spaces over code minimum.
2. A small per cent of a unit above density maximum has been granted in the past
. with a proposal of this type (consolidation of lots).
3. One written communication opposing the proposal was received.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Planning CCIIlIIIission of the City of Seal
Beach does hereby approve V-24-12 subject to the conditions that (1) engineerlng
conditions be me;t, (2) land use agreement be executed stipulating all covered
parking remain open for vehlcular parking, number of units not exceed 10, and
provisions for annual lnspection, and (3) detailed landscaping plans be submitted
to the satlsfactlon of the staff.
ADOPTED AND APPROVED this 21st d~ of June, 1912.
I hereby certify that the foregolng resolution was duly adopted at a regular
meeting of the Planning Commission of the Clty of Seal Beach which was held on
Wednesd~, June 21, 1912, and carried by the following vote:
