RESOLUTION NO. 642 A RESOLUTION OF TIlE PLABNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF SEAL BEACH APPROVING VARIANCE V-23-72 TO PERMIT STRUCTURAL ALTERATIONS TO AN EXISTING NONCONFORMING BUILDING IN TIlE R-3 ZONE. (JONES) WHEREAS, in the matter of Variance Application No. V-23-72, the Planning COIDDIission of the City of Seal Beach does report as follows: 1. Subject case initiated by Mr. and Mrs. A. B. Jones, 855 Sussex Rd., San Marino. 2. Subject property described as Lot 12 and 1/2 of Lot 10, Block 106, Bay City Tract, COJllDlonly known as 210-212 6th St. 3. Subject proposal is to add a covered porch to an exist1ng nonconforming building. WHEREAS, the Planning Commission findings are as follows: 1. Property is nonconforming due to less than the required parking spaces and less than required rear yard setback. 2. Variances have been granted in the past under similar circumstances. . 3. Density of use will not be increased. 4. Proposal will be an improvement and not detrimental to the area or zone. NOW. THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Planning Commission of the City of Seal Beach does hereby approve Variance V..23-72. ADOPTED AND APPROVED this 7th day of June, 1972.
