V-19-72, TO PERMIT TANDEM PARKING FOR A PROPOSED DUPLEX IN THE R-3 ZONE. WlIEREAS, in the matter of Variance Application No. V-19-72, the Planning Commission of the City of Seal Beach does report as follows: 1. Subject case initiated by Richard and Helen Harbour, 333 1st Street, Seal Beach, California, Apt. G-l03. 2. Suhject property described as Lot 12, Block 107, Bay City Tract, commonly known as 212 7th Street, Seal Beach, CA. 3. Subject proposal is to construct 2 two-bedroom units with tandem parkin~. WHEREAS, the Planning Commission findings are as follows: 1. Tandem parking is necessary in order to meet the parking requirements (number of spaces) on a 25 foot wide lot. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Planning Commission of the City of Seal Beach does hereby approve V-19-72, with the following conditions: 1. Engineering conditions be met. (attached) 2. Land Use Agreement limiting units to two, parking spaces for vehicles only. 3. That modifications be made in exterior doorway of rear unit to meet require- ments of Section 1819 of Zoning Ordinance. 4. The shower in the downstairs bedroom in rear unit be deleted. ADOPTED AND APPROVED this 3rd day of May, 1972.
