CP-2-72, TO PERMIT THE CONSTRUCTION OF A SAVINGS AND LOAN BUILDING ON SIX LOTS (5~ LOTS ARE ZONED C-1 AND l:! LOT IS ZONED R-2). WlIEREAS, in the matter of Conditional Use Permit No. CP-2-72, the Planning Commission of the City of Seal Beach does report as follows: 1. Subject case initiated by Nina Bennis, 1400 Pacific Coast Highway, with Home Federal Savings and Loan Association, the authorized agent. 2. Subject property described as Lots 25, 27, 29, 31, 33 & 35, Block 213, Tract 10, Commonly known as 1350 Pacific Coast Highway, Seal Beach, CA. 3. Subject proposal is to construct a savings and loan building on 6 lots with less than required parking spaces, no alley nor loading zone provisions. One-half lot in the R-2 Zone requires a Conditional Use Permit to be used as a portion of the parking area. WllEREAS, the Planning Commission findings are as follows: 1. All commercial property is requ1red to have a 22' loading zone and alley at the rear of property in District I. . 2. The proposal has 21 parking spaces and code requires 26. 3. Two persons from audience spoke in favor of the proposal. 4. Some potential parking spaces were taken up by a drive up window and approach. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Planning Commission of the City of Seal Beach does hereby approve CP-2-72 subject to compliance with engineering conditions. (attached) ADOPTED AND APPROVED this 19th day of April, 1972.
