RESOLUTION NO. 616
A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OF SEAL BEACH APPROVING VARIANCE APPLICATION V-10-72
TO PERMIT CONSTRUCTION OF A THREE BEDROOM DUPLEX
InTH TANDEM PARKING. (CAROLLO)
WHEREAS. in the matter of Variance Application No. V-10-72 the Planning Commission
of the City of Seal Beach does report as follows:
1. Subject case initiated by Joseph P. Carollo. 113 6th Street. Seal Beach
2. Subject property described as Lot 31, Block 105. Bay City Tract. commonly
known as 237 6th Street, Seal Beach, California.
3. Subject proposal is to construct a 3 bedroom duplex in an R-3 Zone with
tandem parking.
WHEREAS. the Plann~ng Commission findings are as follows:
1. Due to the size of the lot. 25 foot wide. tandem parking is needed to
gain the necessary number of parking spaces.
2. Similar variances have been granted.
NOW. THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Planning COllD11ission of the City of Seal
Beach does hereby approve Variance Application No. V-IO-72 with these conditions:
1. That engineering coditions be met. (attached)
2. That developer enter into a land use agreement specifying that parking spaces
will remain open for vehicles only.
3. That doorways on first floor be modified to comply with Section 1819 of
Zoning Ordinance.
4. That landscaping plan be approved by staff.
ADOPTED AND APPROVED this 5th day of April. 1972.

of the Planning Commission of the City of Seal Beach which was held on Wednesday,
