RESOLUTION NO. 798
A RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OF SEAL BEACH APPROVING CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT CP-
11-73, FOR A DRIVE-IN RESTAURANT IN THE C-2 ZONE IN
THE ROSSMOOR BUSINESS CENTER. (Carl's Jr.)
WHEREAS. in the matter of Conditional Use Permit CP-11-73, the Planning Commission
of the City of Seal Beach does report as follows:
1. Subject case initiated by Rossmoor Business Center, 12121 Seal
Beach Blvd., Seal Beach, CA.
2. Subject property described as 12159 Seal Beach Blvd. (legal
description on file)
3. Subject proposal is to construct a Carl's Jr. drive-in restaurant
in the C-2 zone in Rossmoor Business Center.
I~EREAS, the Planning Commission findings are as follows:
1. Required parking is provided on site or within 300' of property.
2. Three persons spoke in opposition to proposal.
3. Free standing sign would be reloc:sted at side of building and
facia signs to be located on front of building only.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Planning Commission of the City of Seal
Beach does hereby approve CP-11-73, subject to the following conditions:
1. Landscaping plans to satisfaction of staff.
2. Indentification sign of 100 sq.ft. maximum area and 22'
maximum height.
3. Installation of low curb adjacent to alley with 8' drive sisle.
4. Sidewalk to satisfaction of City Engineer.
